In Love Again

An arrow from quiver,Lost in the reverie
Bemused by the unknown.
Reached the target, bringing home the bacon,
As if I am home, in love again

The arrow that struck the bird,
pierced the bone, left behind the herd
memories that chirped
inspired to fly, in love again

The heart that is broken,
can feel the pain,
Love in your eyes,
can heal the pain, In Love Again

Life burden Heavy,
shrugged by the load,
down on the knee,
the words from your heart
set me free, ,  In love again

हिन्दी हमारी राष्ट्र भाषा - Hindi: Indian National Language

Hindi is the Indian National Language. This is one statement that has been mistaken to the core. I often get to witness the stupid fight between North Indians and South Indians on this statement.

Here is my effort to clarify a few things on this on this topic.
III std Social Science text book of CBSE syllabus clearly states that there are 16 Indian National languages. yeah that's correct its 16 not just Hindi. As per our constitution, there are 2 major criterias for the language to be declared as Indian National language:
1. It should be a spoken language in our country as mother tongue.
2. It should have its own लिपि (scribal)

Strictly speaking Hindi does not satisfy the above 2. The Devanagari lipi of Hindi belongs to Sanskrit. But there is a reason why this language is an exception.

This language is not just the National language but also the OFFICIAL language of our country. Which means, if you have to make an official communication, anywhere in India, apart from English and the local language of that state, you are authorized to communicate it in Hindi. Egs: Submit an application/ resignation/ leave letter. Legally, such submissions cannot be rejected. You will find all the Govt official forms printed in English, sometimes in the local language and as well as in Hindi.
Our constitution has been translated to all the local languages/ National languages but they are considered as translations and copies. Only the English and the Hindi versions are held with the highest regard as Indian Constitutions.

Our constitution also says, we are a democratic country. With due respect to this statement, in my opinion, it is illegal to force anyone to speak or learn Hindi. Respecting the local language is a must and you cannot establish the importance of the official language of our country, until and unless you hold the local language with the respect and high regard. Over powering a linguistic tradition of a state is the most unprofessional approach to spread the acquaintance about Hindi.

Having said that, I totally support the concept of having one common official language across the country. Have you visited other countries where they don't speak English? Do you feel like an alien? Do you feel like a foreigner in the true sense? How many of us experience this discomfort when we travel a few kms from a our state and visit a neighboring state? How many of us feel like a foreigner in metropolitan cities like Bangalore or Chennai when we are here to earn our living? Its ironical that we feel like a foreigner in our own country. Its a big hit on the integrity of our country just because we have a gap in communication even though we share a common and rich cultural background.

Its peak of bull headed stupidity to fight over our local language to be declared as the official language. Hindi is the most apt language for this. Consider the below points with an open mind:

> Hindi uses Devanagari lipi, which is widely familiar in the country, since Sanskrit is the sacred language across the Nation. Most people from North to South, are aware of the scribal and can there by read Hindi with least difficulty.

>Hindi is the language which has emerged with the contribution of almost all the major languages of the country, which makes it easy to understand and learn.

> Most of the North Indian states of the nation are already familiar the language and therefore its only the South Indians who need to put in a little bit of effort to learn this beautiful yet very simple language.

Some of we South Indians  who know Hindi reasonably have traveled to North Indian states, and yet feel belonged. For the integrity of the country, to have the mutual acceptance in our neighboring states, to feel at home in our own country, its essential to have a Hindi as our official language and make a clean effort to learn it. Does this make sense why Hindi has to be the official language? Is this a more convincing approach to bring better acquaintance of this language rather than forcing people to adapt to the language?

I hope .....:)

The Monk Who Sold his Ferrari

Finally I forced myself to finish reading this book. Very disappointed....
The popularity of this book is hyped so much that I was looking forward to read it. After the first 3-4 pages of the book, it could not hold my attention one bit. Thanks to my Manager, he stopped me from buying this book and let me borrow from his. Otherwise I would have cribbed as waste of money... :P

The spiritual conversations sounded more of book knowledge to me. Not much of experience essence. It was more of theoretical philosophy.... Clearly Robin Sharma didnt impress me :(

Choosing between mom and wife!!!! Why???

How many of you have heard men say "You can get another wife but not another mother"..... Huh what a profound statement, I am such an adorable human being for having stated the world's deepest truth!!!. That's what you guys think when you state this right?
Please sit down, take deep breath in and think again!!! Ponder... May be by God's grace some light will glow...
Why do you want to choose between the two?  Some of you are managers in a company managing a team, who trust me hate you....Then Why is it so hard to love 2 people in your life who actually love you?
I am sure you have made this statement in the presence of your beloved wife and your divine mother. Now think for a moment...Your Mom will be insecured coz she has seen you choose your wife over her, when you want to enjoy life. Be it parties, vacation, official functions, movies; ...I am sure you are with your wife and not with your mom. You have made your priorities very clear to her. When was the last time you took  your mom out for a temple, a general health check up, a vacation, ok forget just a simple walk in the park???? You may want to ask your wife the same question, I am sure she will score better. Take a look at the old age homes. Most of them are abandoned by sons, who pose to be loving sons.
On the other hand, your wife must be red alert with all the fear in heart that you may bring in someone to replace her anytime. After all you made this statement LOUD and CLEAR... Isn't it? Put yourself in her shoes, she left her home, family, friends, relatives and changed her Name just for you. I wonder how this profound truth has not been an eye opener to your wife....!!! Oh come on, going by your statement, she can find another husband but not another mom. Ideally, going by your truth, she should just go back to her parents and leave you with your loud priorities.
By the way, in future, the same truth will be applicable to your son. Your wife should be his priority. Not you or your mom. You and your mom will have to gulp this every moment...ehem...ehem...
2 insecured people asked to Live together who are both extremely possessive about you. What do you expect? peace and harmony??? You deserve to be smashed between the two. If the 2 loving people are fighting over you, its clear that you are the Moran who has miserably failed to bridge between the two. If your wife and mom are in harmony, you are the one to be the most happiest.

Strange that you have not perceived this oblivious truth. I hope some light glows. I hope you open your heart....

The big headed online shipping companies....I Can't comprehend their stupid standards... I understand the company follows a certain norm to maintain the credibility of their online products and reviews displayed but the review team does more or less a blind job.
I shared the review about the book "Bring Out The Magic in Your Mind" by Al Koran. Here is the reply from the team:
Thank you for posting your review for "Bring Out The Magic In Your Mind", dated 25 July 2012.

We noticed that the review you had shared with us is also displayed on various other sites on the internet. We don't accept such reviews even though they might be written by the same person because,

1. Flipkart may lose its credibility if others, aware of duplicate reviews, assume that Flipkart.com (or a Flipkart.com affiliate) is copying reviews of genuine authors to promote the site and products.

2. Search engines (like Google, Bing and Yahoo) penalize duplicate content on newer sites like Flipkart.com in favor of older ones.

As a result, we have removed your review from our website. Could we request that you post a fresh, original review, if you are keen to have your opinion represented in this particular product page?

We are in the process of rolling out a customer-centric forum welcoming your experiences and feedback on our services and products. In the meanwhile, please feel free to share your concerns or queries with us atcs@flipkart.com.

Yours Sincerely,
Somanna
Customer Review Team
Flipkart.com

What strikes me hard is how can this be a copy paste? I wrote the review myself. If the intelligent Somanna means someone else also has given a positive feedback and similar opinion, how the hell does it matter? Can 2 people not share common opinion? AND how on earth is that a copy paste?

Bring Out the magic in your mind-- Al Koran

2 days ago, I finished reading the book by Al Koran "Bring out the magic in your mind"
I have mixed opinion about this book... The first 15 chapters were mind blowing...very inspiring....
The visualization techniques, the need to believe in the power of the subconscious, the power of affirmations, the booster effect of influencing the self ability to find greater happiness.....(I can go on)... were simply awesome.
I am yet to witness the success of some of my projects but what I have been experiencing is also priceless. I feel more confident, happier and prosperous...What I appreciate the most is the insight he has given in the book gives us a deep appreciation towards the teachings of Master Choa's Kriyashakthi. Simple teachings of my Guru has been embedded with such intense, deep and vast impact and meaning. These priceless teachings have been imparted to us in such simple formula, which works out so evidently. I hope to manifest the greatness with me through the better understanding of Master's KS courses gained through this book.

However, I found the chapters 16-20 quiet boring, but 21-27 were informative.
Having said that I didn't see the need to quote some of the reviews on Al Koran. Most of them were irrelevant but some of course leaves an impact to believe in the content of the book.

Over all it was worth reading.

Broken-- Amy Lee

I wanted you to know I love the way you laugh
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain away
I keep your photograph and I know it serves me well
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain

'Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away

You've gone away, you don't feel me, here anymore

The worst is over now and we can breathe again
I wanna hold you high, you steal my pain away
There's so much left to learn, and no one left to fight
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain

[x2]
'Cause I'm broken when I'm open
And I don't feel like I am strong enough
'Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away

'Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away

You've gone away
You don't feel me here anymore

Non Violent Communication

Finally finish reading Non Violent Communication-A language of life!!!!
AMAZING book.... its a must read!!!
My heart filled tribute to Dr. MBR for authoring it.
The book demonstrates, provokes and motivates me to practice truthfulness to the coreeeee...towards self, others and in perception!! The drastic change in the view point to see, feel and express life AS IT IS gives deep relief and happiness that comes within.
The key to read the book is to go slow....Allow the message to sink in as deep as it can. There is absolutely no hurry to rush through the pages. You may also want to slow down in talking after the book has left its impact. Its not very hard to practice, but the first few steps could be hard to break the old norms and tendencies....I want to believe that the more I practice, I am likely to end most of my complications in life :)

Yes reading the book is the first step, whats more important is to imbibe the spirit of truthfulness. Now, every sentence I phrase opens a new angle of self understanding. This book has brought me one step closer to myself.

And what do I say about Marshal Rosenberg...... He certainly is an evolved soul who has shown that just the right usage of words, right sentences phrased will heal the deep self and transform the world around. What a way of illumination!!!! BRAVO....!!!! Yes though the book is simply about communication, my heart has sensed a lot of spiritual revealings in Dr.MBR and his book!!! A BIG THANK YOU :)

Connecting Dots

Astral stars glitter with the cosmos
Pebbles on the shore of an ocean
Beat with the rhythm of wafture
Ridges of a river with all its undulation
Connecting Dots to beckon to the mighty restoration

Little soul down on the earth
Taking steps on the quivering path
Stumbled down by the rhythmic waves
Went on the knees to collect the scattered
Connecting Dots to trace the posthumous

Supreme- Robbie Williams

Oh it seemed forever stopped today
All the lonely hearts in London
Caught a plane and flew away
And all the best women are married
All the handsome men are gay
You feel deprived

Yeah are you questioning your size?
Is there a tumour in your humour,
Are there bags under your eyes?
Do you leave dents where you sit,
Are you getting on a bit?
Will you survive
You must survive

When there's no love in town
This new century keeps bringing you down
All the places you have been
Trying to find a love supreme
A love supreme

Oh what are you really looking for?
Another partner in your life to
abuse and to adore?
Is it lovey dovey stuff,
Do you need a bit of rough?
Get on your knees

Yeah turn down the love songs that you hear
'Cause you can't avoid the sentiment
That echoes in your ear
Saying love will stop the pain
Saying love will kill the fear
Do you believe
You must believe
When there's no love in town
This new century keeps bringing you down
All the places you have been
Trying to find a love supreme
A love supreme

I spy with my little eye
Something beginning with (ah)
Got my back up
And now she's screaming
So I've got to turn the track up
Sit back and watch the royalties stack up
I know this girl she likes to switch teams
And I'm a fiend but I'm living for a love supreme

When there's no love in town
This new century keeps bringing you down
All the places you have been
Trying to find a love supreme
A love supreme

Come and live a love supreme
Don't let it get you down
Everybody lives for love

Come and live a love supreme
Don't let it get you down
Everybody lives for love

Secrets of Karma

Here is my opinion about it:
1. I like the simplicity of the language. No jargons, no twists...just straight forward message. Its crystal clear.
2. Starting every chapter with a quote is very nice approach.
3. Throughout the book nothing was repetitive. Every chapter was unique and held my interest.
4. The stories are short simple and straight to the point. It was like reading a story book. Subject didn't feel heavy, at the same time holds on to the significance.
5. Though it quotes many stories and quotations from great saints, the book is author's original interpretation  of the subject. I like the way he has consolidated the teachings from Master, other studies and presented it in his own original style. It is not biased to any religion instead culminates all of them to point the universal truth.
6. The cartoons are very nice. Very relevant as well.

Just 2 points:
Should have included more experiences from personal life. This would help the reader connect to the author and the subject wrt to practical life.
The Law of Forgiveness supersedes law of karma. This should have been given more importance. This would have been the actual secret to break the chain of negative karma.
